PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas meter capable of being configured as an upper pipe sleeve type and a lower pipe sleeve type.SOLUTION: A gas meter 1, 1A has a rear case 40 capable of storing a flow channel member 10 which is normally arranged so that, viewed from the front side, a gas flow-in port 13 and a gas flow-out port 14 are disposed laterally in a predetermined order; and contrary to the normal state, the flow channel member 10 in which the gas flow-in port 13 and the gas flow-out port 14 are disposed inversely. The front case 30 is arranged to be attached, without changing its direction, to the rear case 40 in a normal state that the flow channel member 10 is stored in a normal state with the opening at the front side and the gas flow-in port 13 and the gas flow-out port 14 oriented upward; and the front case 30 is arranged also to be attached, without changing its direction, to the rear case 40 in an inverted state with the opening at the front side and the flow channel member 10 stored in the inverted state with the gas flow-in port 13 and the gas flow-out port 14 downward. |
