In a method of molding a tag pin assembly P having an enhanced number of tag pins p per unit length of the assembly and wherein each pin comprises a head 1, a filament portion 2 and a transverse rod portion 3 (see also Fig 2), and is implanted on one connecting rod 5 via connecting portions 4 (Fig 9, not shown), the pressures acting on the thin wall surfaces between adjacent cavities are substantially equalised by supplying molten resin from an injection molding machine through a main runner portion 30 to a plurality of first sub-runner portions 31 and U-shape branched second sub-runner portions 32 to cavities of tag pins 4 such that each second sub-runner portion 32 supplies four cavities.
