This invention relates generally to the processing of orthogonal frequency division multiplex signals, and more precisely methods of synchronising a receiver of an incoming orthogonal frequency division multiplex (OFDM) signal. The invention provides methods and apparatus for synchronising a receiver to an incoming multi-carrier signal, such as an OFDM signal.
