<p>The present invention is to suppress degradation of the image quality formed in a recording medium. The liquid jet apparatus according to the present invention comprises a record medium supply unit (10) which supplies a recording medium (M); a record medium conveyor unit (20) which has a supporting surface (23a) supporting the record medium, and transfers the recording medium (M); a jet head (H) which injects liquid toward the record medium (M) supported by the record medium conveyor unit (20); a record medium collection unit (30) which collects the record medium (M); and a heater block (27) as a drying unit which is arranged between the record medium conveyor unit (20) and a record medium collection unit (30), and dries the ink attached to the recording medium (M). The liquid jet apparatus is characterized in that the area which becomes the edge of the mutual contact surface (27a) of the heat block (27) toward the record medium collection unit (20) is positioned upper than the edge of the support surface (23a) toward the heater block (27) of in the vertical direction.
