PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder, an image recording system, and a method of controlling the recording of an image wherein a plural pieces of image information can be received at the same time even with a host computer of which the transmission rate of the image information is low, thereby improving the productivity with respect to image information for the image recording operation transmitted from a plurality of host computers. SOLUTION: The image recorder is equipped with a buffer. The image information transmitted from a plurality of image information supply means at the same time is independently accumulated in the buffer so that a time for the transmission of the image information can be reduced and the productivity can be improved.
