The process involves storing information on the characteristics of a marker during the execution of a module in an electronic unit at the time of passage by the marker. The electronic unit has a processing unit and a storing unit to process and store the information, respectively. The consistency of the information of the encountered markers stored on the electronic unit is verified in a point of control. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) an electronic unit (b) a program having instructions of program code for the execution of a process of protecting an automatic electronic calculation unit.
