<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an array with the optimum phase shift values of respective antenna elements, set upon accommodating two patterns (transmission and reception) on the array. <P>SOLUTION: Reflector arrays, used in a microwave image producing system for acquiring the microwave image of an object, are capable of programming individual phase shifts of a first pattern so as to guide the first beam of microwave radiation toward a first target, and respective arrays are provided with a plurality of refection antenna elements, capable of programming individual phase shifts of a second pattern so as to guide the second beam of the microwave radiation toward a second target, respectively; while the plurality of antenna elements are programmed by individual phase shifts through interleaved pattern, comprising a part of the first pattern and a part of the second pattern for acquiring the microwave image of the object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
