PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the calibration of the wavelength scanning type light source of an optical tomographic imaging device such as a wavelength scanning type OCT or a Fourier domain OCT or the like, a monochrometor, a spectroscope, etc. without using a special machine material such as an oscilloscope, an interference filter or the like. SOLUTION: In the calibration case of the wavelength scanning type light source 2 of optical coherence tomography having the wavelength scanning type light source 2 for temporally scanning a wavelength, the wavelength scanning type light source 2 is monitored by the optical coherence tomography to detect a spectrum interference signal as a time signal, and the time dependence of a scanning wavelength is calculated from the spectrum interference signal to calibrate the time dependence characteristics of the scanning wavelength of the wavelength scanning type light source 2.
