Provided is a mold commutator comprising commutator members (1), cylindrical varistor pins (20) press-fitted between the adjoining commutator members, and a mold member (3) for molding the commutator members (1) and the varistor pins (20) integrally to form the mold commutator. The varistor pins (20) absorb the spark voltages between the commutator members thereby to improve the brush lifetime.
