<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side effect information management system by which side effect information can be efficiently transmitted from a medical institution to a pharmaceutical company. <P>SOLUTION: The side effect information management system includes: a side effect information registration means which, when side effect information including information specifying a suspect drug and necessity information indicating whether or not the notification to a pharmaceutical company is required are input in the medical institution's terminal, receives the side effect information and the necessity information from the medical institution's terminal and registers both information in a database. The system also includes a side effect information reference means which, when it has received a transmission request including information specifying a pharmaceutical company from a pharmaceutical company's terminal, extracts side effect information in which a medicine sold by the pharmaceutical company that has transmitted the transmission request is the suspect drug, and of which notification is required, from the database, and transmits it to the pharmaceutical company's terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
