<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing an aqueous dispersion excellent in antiseptic properties which is included in inkjet recording aqueous ink excellent in glossiness. <P>SOLUTION: The process for producing the inkjet recording aqueous dispersion comprises a step of heat sterilization of an aqueous dispersion containing 10-30 wt.% water-insoluble polymer particles containing a colorant, 3-10 wt.% compound represented by formula (1): R<SP>10</SP>-O(CH<SB>2</SB>CH<SB>2</SB>O)<SB>a</SB>-H (wherein R<SP>10</SP>is a 3-6C hydrocarbon group and a is a number of 2-5), and an antiseptic at not lower than 60°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
