<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an increase in power-supply voltage, when rapidly decelerating a motor or switching a normal rotation/reverse rotation of the motor. <P>SOLUTION: A motor driving device 10 includes: a logic circuit 12 for carrying out on/off control of each of upper side transistors 21U, 21V and 21W connected between a power supply end and a motor 30, and lower side transistors 22U, 22V and 22W connected between the motor 30 and a ground end; and an overvoltage protection circuit 18 for producing an overvoltage protection signal according to a comparison result of power supply voltage VCC applied on the power supply end and a predetermined protection setting value, and sending that to the logic circuit 12. The logic circuit 12 turns off the upper side transistors 21U, 21V and 21W and turns on the lower side transistors 22U, 22V and 22W, when the power supply voltage VCC exceeds the protection setting value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
