PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fault tolerance of charge/discharge operation.SOLUTION: A power supply apparatus 1 includes a power storage circuit 2 and a control circuit 3. The power storage circuit 2 includes a plurality of power storage members 11a-11f and a plurality of separation circuits 13a-13f respectively corresponding to the plurality of power storage members and configured so that when a corresponding power storage member is failed, the corresponding power storage member is separated to suppress current flow into the corresponding power storage member. In the power storage circuit 2, the plurality of power storage members 11a-11f are grouped into a plurality of power storage member groups 12a-12c each including two or more power storage members connected in parallel, and the plurality of power storage member groups 12a-12c are connected in series. The control circuit 3 controls whether charge/discharge operation of the power storage circuit 2 is to be continued or not on the basis of a connection position of a failed power storage member out of the plurality of power storage members 11a-11f.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
