PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for functionalizing various material surfaces, regarding substrates having anti-infective surfaces, so as to include active surface regions for binding anti-injective medicines in particular.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing a surface having an anti-infective agent comprising: a step where a surface selected from metals, alloys, ceramics, silicone, polymers, glasses and fibers is functionalized with an adhesive layer of an oxide, alkoxide or a mixture of an oxide/alkoxide; a step where the adhesive layer is treated with phosphoric acid to form a single layer of a phosphonate; a step where the single layer of a phosphonate is functionalized to form a distal amino group stuck to the single layer of the phosphonate; and a step where the distal amino group is quaternized to form a quaternized alkyl ammonium part stuck to the surface via the boundary of the phosphonate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
