PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for suitably changing memory capacity allocated for tile division and achieving scalability of printing speed performance and image quality.SOLUTION: When an image processor refers to a parameter on the image processor and determines that allocation of storage capacity to first storage means for storing a block image obtained by dividing image data in a page unit and second storage means for storing a tile image divided from the block image is required to be changed, the processor changes the allocation of the storage capacity in accordance with the parameter and changes division sizes of the block image and the tile image in accordance with the change of the storage capacity. |
