<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical device control system capable of raising guide stability and operability in a medical device for performing medical practice such as the examination or treatment of a subject, where the direction is controlled by magnetism. <P>SOLUTION: The medical device comprises: an insertion part 3 to be inserted into the subject; and a magnetic field response part arranged inside the insertion part 3, so as to generate a torque in response to the magnetic field to be impressed from the outer part of the subject. The medical device control system comprises: the medical device 3; a direction detecting part 5 for detecting the insertion direction of the insertion part 3, a user interface 19 for inputting/outputting information concerning the control of the insertion direction; a magnetic field generating part 7 which works on the magnetic field response part, so as to generate the magnetic field for directing the insertion part toward a control direction; and a user interface control part 17 for controlling a user interface 19, based on a difference between the control direction and the insertion direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
