PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan motor preventing the occurrence of noise due to a ring and moreover enabling increase of air capacity by improving intake efficiency. SOLUTION: A fan blade 5 is extended in an outer circumference direction of a rotor part 4 and a ring 41 is formed on an end surface 25B in a longitudinal direction of the fan blade 5. The ring 41 is inclined toward the outer circumference side from the inner circumference side in such a manner that the inner circumference side projects out of the outer circumference side. Consequently, a problem of noise occurrence caused by air flowing in a gap between the ring 41 and the cover 3. Also, the inner circumference side of the ring 41 projects out of the outer circumference side, air F can be efficiently taken into an inside of the fan blade 5 from an inner circumference edge of the ring 41.
