In yarn treatment apparatus with a nozzle body (1) containing a yarn channel (3), in which a blast hole (2) (of angle (alpha )) opens, and a deflecting plate surrounding the yarn channel, the yarn channel has a convex cross-section where the blast hole passes through the channel, widening outwardly from the blast hole.
