A battery pack is provided to improve safety and reliability by automatically disconnecting a charge and discharge route if temperature of a battery rises above a reference temperature. A battery pack(100) includes: at least one rechargeable battery(110); at least one posistor(120) which is placed at one side of the battery and connected in parallel with the battery at the same time, and increases in resistance if temperature of the battery increases; a first switch(130) which is connected to one end of the posistor and to which a predetermined driving voltage is applied if resistance of the posistor increases; and a second switch(140) which is connected to a charge and discharge route(L1,L2) of the battery and connected to the first switch at the same time, and disconnects the charge and discharge route if the first switch operates.
