<p>The method involves delivering the drive torque of a drive unit to an output portion (3). The hybrid power train is operated based on a hybrid strategy, such that the mechanical energy is converted into different form of energy in an operating mode. The regenerative operation of an electric machine (2) is controlled based on the parameters of heating requirement for the vehicle interior and/or components. The reduction of the generated electric power is performed to increase the heat energy which is supplied to the vehicle interior and/or components.
