摘要 An electroluminescent device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve contrast of an image by preventing lateral direction dispersion of a light emitted in an organic layer. An electroluminescent device(100) comprises a substrate(101), an insulated film(160), a first electrode(170), an organic layer(190), and a second electrode(195). The substrate includes a thin film transistor part. The insulated film is formed on the substrate, and has a via hole(163) and a concave part(R). The via hole exposes the thin film transistor part. The first electrode is connected to the thin film transistor part through the via hole, and is formed on the concave part. The organic layer is formed on the first electrode. Width between a highest end part of the insulated film and a lowest end part of the insulated film is 0.8um ~ 2.0um. Width between a highest end part of the concave part and a lowest end part of the concave part is 0.1um ~ 0.5um.
