摘要

A liquid crystal display device is provided to activate each lamp before turning on lamps by using a light emitting diode driven by a circuit driving power source. A backlight unit(100) comprises a bottom cover(110) receiving a plurality of lamps(10). A liquid crystal panel(300) is arranged on the backlight unit. A case(400) surrounds a front side edge of the liquid crystal panel and a side of the bottom cover. A light emitting diode(350) applies light to the lamps through a through hole formed on the bottom cover to activate each lamp before turning on the lamps.
