PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ammonia purification apparatus that requires only a short time for regeneration of itself after removing impurities in crude ammonia by bringing the crude ammonia into contact with a catalyst having nickel as an active ingredient and synthetic zeolite, and to provide a regeneration method thereof.SOLUTION: An ammonia purification apparatus includes an introduction line of a regeneration gas, an exhaust line of a regeneration gas, and a pressure regulator installed on the exhaust line of a regeneration gas located downstream of a synthetic zeolite bed. A process for regenerating the ammonia regeneration apparatus includes a step for letting an inert gas or a gas mixture of the inert gas and ammonia pass through the synthetic zeolite under heating to remove impurities from the synthetic zeolite, a step for letting the inert gas pass through the synthetic zeolite to cool the synthetic zeolite, an a step for letting the pressurized gas mixture of the inert gas and ammonia pass through the synthetic zeolite for the synthetic zeolite to adsorb the ammonia. |
