PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately perform calibration of a toner density sensor provided downstream a fixing part.SOLUTION: A calibration method of a detection part 32 is provided in an image forming system 1 which comprises the detection part 32 provided downstream a fixing part 8 and detecting information of an image adjustment pattern image for determining image forming conditions. First, a reference sheet is supplied, having a reference chart sheet SC formed thereon from a direction reverse to a forward direction being a conveyance direction of a sheet S having a toner image fixed thereon. Then, the reference sheet is conveyed to between the detection part 32 and the fixing part 8 by reversely rotating a plurality of rollers 43, 42, 35, 34 by a control part. Then, information of the reference chart sheet SC is detected by the detection part 32 while the reference sheet is conveyed in the forward direction by forward rotating the plurality of rollers 34, 35, 42, 43 by the control part. Then, a control for calibrating a detection value of the detection part 32 is performed by the control part using the detected information of the reference chart sheet SC. |
