PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device with the touch detection function, which can prevent the deterioration in touch detection characteristic while suppressing the expansion of a frame.SOLUTION: The display device includes: a plurality of pixels arranged in array; a pixel array including a first side in parallel to the row and a second side opposite to the first side; a plurality of scan lines disposed in each row of the pixel array and supplying scan signals to the plurality of pixels disposed in the corresponding row; a plurality of signal lines SL(0)0(R), SL(0)0(G), SL(0)0(B), and SL(0)2(B) provided for the rows of the pixel array and supplying image signals to the plurality of pixels disposed in the corresponding columns; a plurality of driving electrodes TL(0) disposed in the columns of the pixel array, to which driving signals for detecting the externally approaching object are supplied; and a first driving electrode circuit disposed along the first side of the pixel array, connected to a plurality of control lines SS(0) disposed in the pixel array and the plurality of driving electrodes, and supplying the driving signals to the driving electrode specified by selection signals supplied through the plurality of control lines among the plurality of driving signals.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
