PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods and systems for creating and using pre-parsed headers.SOLUTION: One or more header files 116 are scanned into tokens. These tokens are then parsed into abstract syntax trees. The abstract syntax trees are then serialized in a modular form into pre-parsed headers on a storage device. On the basis of directives in one or more source files 114, the pre-parsed headers are then deserialized into abstract syntax trees and loaded from the storage device.
