PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray generator having an X-ray generation tube including a tilted target structure, in which the generation of failures in an X-ray emission operation due to the occurrence of cracks at a junction between a target and an anode member is prevented.SOLUTION: In a projecting portion 16 for holding a target 20 to be tilted, the projecting portion 16 is formed using two kinds of materials having coefficients of linear expansion different from each other such that (L2-L2')/L2'>(L1-L1')/L1' is satisfied, where L1 and L2 represent a length of a longest part and a length of a shortest part of the outer periphery of the projecting portion 16 at a melting point of a joining material that joins the target 20 to the projecting portion 16, respectively, and L1' and L2' represent a length of the longest part and a length of the shortest part at 25°C, respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
