PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas cooking stove capable of preventing a user from being exposed to a high temperature by carelessly approaching a flame protruding to an outer part of a pan bottom, by determining a diameter of a pan placed on a trivet.SOLUTION: A gas cooking stove includes a stove burner disposed on a top plate through an opening for a burner in such a manner that a burner port is projected to an upper part of the top plate, and a control portion for controlling ignition/extinction and fire power of the stove burner on the basis of an operation of an ignition/extinction operating portion, and a temperature detecting portion is disposed on a position separating from the burner port by a prescribed distance on the top plate. The control portion implements fire power reduction control to reduce the fire power of the stove burner to prescribed second fire power small than prescribed first power, when the detection temperature of the temperature detecting portion is a temperature obtained by adding a prescribed temperature rise determination threshold value to the detection temperature by the temperature detecting portion for comparison, or less, when the fire power of the stove burner is continuously kept at the prescribed first fire power or more for a prescribed time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
