At least parts or portions of the wire tray (10) are made of at least one microwave absorbing material and/or comprise at least one microwave absorbing material, so that the microwave absorbing material is heated up by the microwaves. Further, the present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a wire tray for a microwave oven or a cooking appliance with microwave heating function. |
