The arrangement has a tubular area (62) on a cylinder head (13) of a combustion engine. The tubular area surrounds spark plug screwed in the cylinder head. A spark plug insertion tube (64) is fixed to a bottom end on the tubular area and is held by the cylinder head between the cylinder head and a cylinder head cover (14). A flange area (65) projects outwards from an outer peripheral surface of an intermediate area of the spark plug insertion tube. An inlet camshaft (37) and an outlet camshaft (38) of a valve mechanism of the combustion engine are held for rotation and a recess area (63) with expanded diameter is formed on an open end area of the tubular area. A flange area (65) is placed in the recess area.
