PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL device that prevents entry of moisture into an organic EL element.SOLUTION: An organic EL device has an organic EL element 12, and an inorganic sealing layer 7, on a substrate 2 that extends like a plane. The organic EL element 12 is formed by laminating a first electrode layer 3, a functional layer 5, and a second electrode layer 6, in that order. The inorganic sealing layer 7 seals at least a light-emitting region 30 of the organic EL element 12. A soft resin layer 8 is laminated directly on the inorganic sealing layer 7 so as to extend like a plane. The soft resin layer 8 is made of resin, and has flexibility. |
