PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abrasion gage for a bucket claw, which facilitates inspection of the degree of abrasion of the claw. SOLUTION: The abrasion gage 5 is attached to the claw 3 which is removably mounted on a claw adapter 2 of a bucket, to thereby inspect the degree of abrasion of the claw 3. The abrasion gage 5 is formed of a transparent plate, and has indicating means 6a to 6d marked thereon at predetermined locations from the tip of the plate, for indicating abrasion critical locations for the tip of the claw to be exchanged.
