<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide powder for composite magnetic materials used for dust core materials, electromagnetic wave absorbers or the like. <P>SOLUTION: In soft magnetic flat powder, in powder comprising Si≥2 mass%, Al≥2 mass%, Al+Si≤18 mass%, a remaining part Fe, and inevitable impurities, the thickness (t) of the oxide layer of the powder is controlled to be within 10 nm≤t≤100 nm, 50 nm≤t≤200 nm, and 150 nm≤t≤400 nm, when the average aspect ratio (L/D) of the powder ranges from 1-5, 6-10, and 11-15, respectively, according to an average aspect ratio. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
