<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap which can easily be bored by a straw while having a strength and sealability as a cap, can effectively capture remaining oxygen in the cap or oxygen which permeates from the outer of the cap, and is excellent in preserving properties of a content and flavor retaining properties. <P>SOLUTION: This cap comprises a cap shell which comprises a top plate section and a skirt section hanging from the top plate section, and on the top plate section of which an opening section is provided, and a liner which is formed in a manner to cover the opening section. In the cap, for the liner, a thinner section which can be bored is formed at a section corresponding to the opening section, and at the same time, the liner is made of a resin containing an oxygen absorbing agent.
