PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable routing structure of a wire harness consisting of a number of electric wires through effective utilization of the space between a body panel of automobile and a scuff plate. SOLUTION: The cable routing structure applies to a wire harness to be laid in the space S between a side sill 12 as the body panel of the automobile and the scuff plate 13 installed covering the side sill 12, wherein the space S stores a protector 20 for the wire harness W/H threaded through its hollow part having a closed section, in which the protector 20 is clamped fast to the side sill 12, while a fastening part formed on the protector 20 is fastened to a part for fastening provided on the scuff plate 13. The protector is formed in such an arrangement that a common protector body 200 and a bottom wall material 201 as solely devoted item are installed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
