PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slider for a joint, capable of the easy and appropriate engagement of loops without mismatched engagement or crushed loops in the engagement having no loop gaps for connecting joints of industrial textile belts with high-density joint loops formed of thin monofilament with a flat cross section. SOLUTION: Loop passages 32a-32c inside the slider 10 for inserting an end of the textile belt are composed so that terminal ends of the textile belt can join to be superimposed on each other in the vertical direction. An upper wall surface 29 of the junction part 27 of the loop passages 32a and 32b is arc-shaped, and the height of the loop passage 32c immediately from the circular arc to the slider outlet 26 is slightly larger than the thickness of the textile belt. The height of the loop passage 32c is flexible by making an upper member 12 corresponding to the loop passage 32c elastic free end. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
