PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the data amount of LF data while holding necessary information.SOLUTION: Provided is an image processing device which processes an image-captured signal of sub-pixels acquired by an image sensor having arranged therein a plurality of pixels, each consisting of a plurality of sub-pixels for photodetecting a flux of light passing through pupil sub-regions differing in image forming optics. The image processing device acquires focus information on the basis of the image-captured signal of sub-pixels in a set image region, sets a first and a second region different from said image region on the basis of the acquired focus information, and applies addition processing, with a different degree of addition, to the image-captured signal of sub-pixels in each of the set first and second regions, thereby generating first and second image data as the image data of a captured image. |
