<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a styrenic resin composition for biaxial stretching, containing a highly branched ultrahigh molecular weight copolymer excellent in a balance of melt tension and melt stretchability; and to provide a biaxially sretched sheet and a food packaging container obtained by molding the same. <P>SOLUTION: The styrenic resin composition is formed by continuously feeding a raw material solution in which 100 to 3,000 ppm in terms of weight of a solvent-soluble polyfunctional vinyl compound copolymer having two or more vinyl groups in one molecule thereof and having a branched structure is added to a styrene-containing monovinyl compound, in polymerization reactors continuously arranged, and making the polymerization reaction progress, and contains a highly branched ultrahigh molecular weight copolymer produced by polymerizing the solvent-soluble polyfunctional vinyl compound copolymer and the monovinyl compound, and a linear polymer produced by polymerizing the monovinyl compound, wherein Mw is 200,000 to 500,000; Mz/Mw is 2.2 to 5.0; and the branch ratio gM at the molecular weight of 1,000,000 to 1,500,000 is 0.85 to 0.40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
