The method involves determining a nominal actuation set point for a brake actuator on basis of a braking set point by considering components of the braking set point. A correction for the nominal actuation set point is determined on the basis of the braking set point and a measurement of a torque developed by a brake. The correction is adapted to consider only low frequency variations in the braking set point and to consider actual or future operating conditions of the brake, which is subjected to the same braking set point. The correction is added to the nominal set point. An independent claim is also included for a device for controlling a brake of a vehicle, including an inlet. |
