PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an externally fitting member of a reinforcing metal fitting which can stably and simply carry out installation work and has excellent separation preventive force.SOLUTION: An externally fitting member 21 is provided on a reinforcing metal fitting 20 which is attached to a connecting part of an existing pipe in which an insertion port is inserted in a socket and configured to prevent slipping-off between the socket and the insertion port. The externally fitting member 21 has divided portions 25 at four places in a circumferential direction and is composed of four divided pieces 21A-21D. A hook-shaped engaging portion 22 capable of engaging with the socket is provided, and the divided pieces 21A and 21D are respectively provided with the plurality of engaging portions 22 separately in the circumferential direction. A pressing member is provided, which presses a plurality of slipping-off preventive members 23 having claw portions. The pressing member is a pressing bolt pressing the slipping-off preventive members 23 to the insertion port side by a wedge effect, when external force separating the insertion port from the socket in a pipe axial direction is acted. The two first divided pieces 21A and 21C and the two second divided pieces 21B and 21D having different numbers of the engaging portions 22 are alternately disposed in the circumferential direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
