PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underpants type absorbent article enabling smoothly performing a pulling-up operation.SOLUTION: An underpants type absorbent article 1 has an exterior body where a first fold 41 recessed from a crotch part C side to a waist opening part 5 side is provided along a width direction Y, in a width direction side area 40a of a waist part, in a thickness direction cross section view of the waist part, a second fold 42 recessed from the waist opening part 5 side to the crotch part C side is provided in parallel to the first fold 41, along the width direction Y, and the waist part is folded so as to provide single-wall pleats 43 extending in the width direction Y. Under a folded state of the waist part, a back part and a ventral part of the exterior body are connected to each other by their side parts. As a result of this, a fingertip support part 44 including the pleats 43 and a side seal part 4 is provided in a side part area 40a adjacent to the side seal part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
