Provided is a ball game apparatus that allows execution of an evolved ball game with enhanced game features. The ball game apparatus comprises a pathway along which a thrown ball rolls, a plurality of bodies to be impacted which are set in a setting region on the pathway and are to be impacted by the ball, and a setting device for setting the bodies to be impacted at predetermined positions on the pathway. The bodies to be impacted are partially or completely configured in a spherical shape. The setting device is provided with a storage section for storing the bodies to be impacted, a transferring section for holding the bodies to be impacted from above and transferring the bodies to be impacted to the setting region, and a determination unit for determining where the bodies to be impacted are transferred by the transferring unit. The determination unit may determine where to transfer the bodies to be impacted so that the bodies to be impacted are set at arbitrarily defined positions in the setting region, which is a rectangular region. |
