Methods and systems for a vehicle driveline

Systems and methods for improving operation of a hybrid vehicle are presented. In one example, driveline disconnect clutch operation is adjusted in response to vehicle mass so that the vehicle may operate similarly at lower and higher vehicle masses.

1. A method for operating a hybrid vehicle, comprising:
adjusting operation of a driveline disconnect clutch in response to a change in vehicle mass; adjusting engine stopping timing of an engine coupled to the driveline disconnect clutch in response to the change in vehicle mass; and adjusting an engine torque output by adjusting turbocharger boost of the engine coupled to the driveline disconnect clutch.
