A tool for use with a system for simulating the minimally invasive medical procedure of endoscopy, particularly of flexible gastro-endoscopy. The tools support the close simulation of the actual medical procedure of endoscopy by simulating medical instruments in the context of providing tactile and visual feedback as the simulated procedure is performed on the simulated patient.
