PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire box device capable of ensuring the flatness of a wire to introduce the wire to the side of a dehydration foil in the wire part of a paper machine. SOLUTION: This wire box device of the paper machine, which has a first box 30 having blades 34 for supporting the lower side of a paper-making wire 103 for transporting a paper stuff, a second box 50 disposed on the wire- transporting side from the first box and having a counter blade 58, and a pair of support boxes 20 disposed at places for nipping the boxes is characterized by fixing the support box and the first box and disposing an adjusting mechanism between the support box and the second box. The adjusting mechanism can vertically be moved upward or downward with respect to the support box and can be rotated on a shaft 52 connected to the support box. The counter blade 58 can be disposed in a posture that the upper side of the counter blade 58 is inclined to the upper side of the blade 34.
