PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an addition polymerization catalyst component and an addition polymerization catalyst which each enables the production of an addition polymer having a higher mol.wt., and to provide a method for producing the addition polymer, by which the addition polymer having a higher mol.wt. can be produced. SOLUTION: This addition polymerization catalyst component comprises an amino ether compound represented by the general formula I [(n) is an integer satisfying the expression: 1<=(n)<=10; R<1> , R<2> and R<3> are each independently H, an alkyl, an aralkyl or an aryl; n R<4> groups and n R<5> groups are each identically or differently H, an alkyl, an aralkyl or an aryl, provided that at least one of n R<4> groups and n R<5> groups is a cycloalkyl]. The addition polymerization catalyst is obtained by bringing the addition polymerization catalyst component into contact with an organic aluminum compound and a solid catalyst component comprising magnesium atom, titanium atom, a halogen atom and an electron-donating compound. The method for producing the addition polymer uses the addition polymerization catalyst.
