PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying method for a web preventing contact of the web 1 to an air blowout nozzle 6 when pressing the web against a removing roller. SOLUTION: The conveying method for the web in a drying process includes at least a process of changing a conveying direction of the web to a direction of a web face applied with coating liquid in the drying process of drying the web applied with the coating liquid while blowing air on it. It is characterized by that a blowing amount of the air is temporarily increased in at least the process of changing the conveying direction of the web.
