Disclosed is an underwater antenna comprising electroacoustic transducers (12) which are disposed at a distance from each other on a support (11) and are embedded in a casting compound (13) made of acoustically transparent material. In order to compensate a reduction of the aperture angle and swiveling range of the underwater antenna due to the casting compound (13), the contour of the surface of the casting compound (13), which faces away from the support (11), is directly adapted to the contour of the surface of the transducers (12), which faces away from the support (11).
