PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddling type hybrid vehicle that can effectively transmit a drive force to a drive wheel when driving a rotating electric machine, and when driving an engine, can adjust a power generation load applied to the engine from the rotating electric machine. SOLUTION: The saddling type hybrid vehicle comprises the engine 12 and the rotating electric machine 16, and also is characterized in that: the vehicle comprises a drive force transmission mechanism 14 that transmits the drive force outputted from the engine 12 to the drive wheel; the drive force transmission mechanism 14 comprises a clutch 26 that transmits the drive force to the drive wheel, and an output shaft 10 of the rotating electric machine 16 arranged between the clutch 26 and the drive wheel; and the rotating electric machine 16 comprises a rotor 44, a stator 42 arranged so as to oppose the rotor 44, and a adjusting mechanism 50 that adjusts the magnetic field of the rotating electric machine 16.
