PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily and inexpensively recovering valuable materials from bed material ash generated in a fluidized bed boiler and to provide a method for utilizing the recovered valuable materials from the bed material ash. SOLUTION: Valuable calcium oxide and/or calcium carbonate is recovered by dry-classifying the bed material ash of a predetermined size, which is discharged from a fluid bed boiler using limestone as a fluid medium. Further, the bed material ash with a sieve diameter of 1 mm or more is used as a desulfurizing material and/or the fluid medium of the fluid bed boiler. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
